^^ half are 28, the other half are 30.
10/6/2008 3:57:29 PM
ack, I'm a 33W34L
10/6/2008 3:59:13 PM
I have the worst size ever. I need a M or L polo (I wear a J. Crew large because it fits my neck and shoulders better)... but dress clothes are the worst for me. I'm like a 29.5 inseam but a 32 waste. Well, they don't really make that size. 30 inseam is a tad too long for me and 29 is a tad too short. I always have to get my clothes altered, which isn't a huge deal... but is annoying when I'm in a hurry. The worst is dress shirts though. I'm a 16" neck but NOTHING you can find has sleeves/upper body my size with a 16" neck. I don't LOOK like I have a freakishly thick neck for my body size but the clothes I buy seem to tell me that ** In any case, this thread inspired me to buy some new clothes...
10/6/2008 4:23:13 PM
Can I dress you? I love going shopping with boys! The men's department was my fav section to work at J.Crew!
10/6/2008 4:26:26 PM
Damn I love J. Crew. When did you work there?
10/6/2008 4:27:38 PM
I've probably got about 20 short sleeve knit shirts, but some are Polo, some Polo Sport, some Alexander Julian, some Boss, some Nautica, some Tommy Hil, some Chaps, some J Crew...some solid colored, some striped, some with a pattern on them...
10/6/2008 4:28:50 PM
I worked there for 3 years...quit last December but thinking reaaallly hard about going back in the next month or so!
10/6/2008 4:28:57 PM
That's pretty much where I get all my casual clothes from. I've been actually getting my dress clothes mostly from Macy's recently, though...
10/6/2008 4:31:37 PM
I have 6 or 7, and I have too many. Brooks Brothers is taking over my closet.
10/6/2008 4:33:54 PM

i hate the idea of polo shirts.but i accept their reality.i do prefer short sleeve button-downs, tho. REI or Old Navy.
10/6/2008 7:54:43 PM
10/6/2008 7:55:43 PM
^short sleeve button-downs?like Milton in Office Space?

short sleeve button-ups... ewwww
10/6/2008 8:04:28 PM

10/6/2008 8:26:50 PM
my dress shirts are 19.5/35, and my dress pants are 36/32 (although I usually get a 42 waist tailored down so my thighs fit). I hate shopping for nice clothes, because the tailor's bill usually comes out to be as much as the clothes were. For people with larger frames, Nike makes some very comfortable pique polos.
10/6/2008 8:43:45 PM
I'M SO BULKY THAT I HAVE TO SHOP FOR SPECIAL CLOTHES.WHOSE CLOTHES?CHU CLOTHES?
10/6/2008 8:44:38 PM

10/6/2008 10:06:21 PM
if you mean like the knit short sleve shirts, like 15.im a button up guy, and regularly rotate through roughly 75.mostly j.crew, br, and rl.
10/6/2008 10:16:33 PM
um yeah, i meant button-ups.
10/7/2008 1:07:55 PM
^^ br has never really done it for me. i rarely find their men's stuff appealing at all. well, not true, they do have some dressier stuff that i like, but as for regular wear, just not my style.
10/7/2008 1:43:03 PM
j.crew costs so much. I just wait for my sister to buy it, then steal it from her closet. You don't rock till ya got Lily Pulitzer polos!
10/7/2008 1:47:33 PM
honestly polos make me  i hate when i have to wear them...
10/7/2008 1:48:36 PM
I love polos. I guess I went to a private HS where we wore white ones everyday. I got so used to not folllowing fashion then cause it didn't matter. I just love being able to know that they match like everything, and just easy as shit to just pick a color.
10/7/2008 1:53:12 PM
I don't feel right not wearing a collared shirt when i'm out in public. maybe it's the latent frat guy in me or something.[Edited on October 7, 2008 at 1:54 PM. Reason : e]

10/7/2008 3:48:47 PM
10/7/2008 3:52:48 PM
Probably have about 10 polos (none are polo brand, but that's what I call 'em anyway). I'm more of a button-down guy though. Longsleeve with sleeves partially rolled up, or short sleeve. (If you don't wear a tie with them, and don't button them all the way to the throat, and/or get ones with a stripe or check pattern, you don't look like Milton...)
10/7/2008 3:53:10 PM
i fucking love j. crew.
10/7/2008 4:11:56 PM
I fuckin love you boys
10/7/2008 4:46:39 PM
