^ from that link
Quote : | "John McCain will expand the number of H-1B visas to allow our companies to keep top-notch talent – often trained in our graduate schools – in the United States. ... Hiring skilled foreign workers to fill critical shortages benefits not only innovative companies, but also our economy. " |
yeah, that's gonna be a real popular position in tough economic/high unemployment times.
but then he says:
Quote : | "For every foreign worker hired, corporations generally hire five to ten additional American workers. " |
LOL WUT?
does anyone suppose John McCain knows what a post hoc fallacy is?10/28/2008 11:02:39 PM |

he screwed up in the first few months really. he could have yanked so much support early on and then the stage got flooded by a bunch of losers. that preacher guy seems to have his wits about him, but mccain was stronger and he should have known it. halfway through the first half, his campaign just kind of died out. hard to pit ability against a bottomless bankroll 10/28/2008 11:14:38 PM |
