If Sarah Palin were VP and this young NCSU freshman got pregnant she would not be able to get an abortion. Her rape baby would be a gift from god even if her babies daddy is locked in prison for rape and she is forced to withdrawl from school next year to take care of the baby

Remember guys

Sarah Palin 08
& John McCain
Country First!!

I hope this fuck gets butt raped the next 40 years in prison an never see the sun again.

exactly, based on the fact that the VP writes the laws of this nation.

folks seem to forget that everything a president or VP plans will have to go through congress.

California's Prison System is bankrupting them.

It has also reduced crime.

I am not sure if 3-strikes is the solution but I support harsh minimum sentences for individuals that repeatedly are sent to prison for robberies, rapes, and the like.

yes, only for violent crimes
execute them after three strikes, as they have proved that they cannot control their behavior and be a productive member of society

I know this is chit chat, but that's just asinine.

Do you think that if she were elected, that magically everything she believed in would become law?

Three Strikes law isn't that great. Remember, you can always move to another state after the second arrest.

Crimes like this deserve a 1 strike and you get executed or castrated law. If there is sufficient forensic evidence he should be ball less by the middle of November.

I fucking hate the blame the victim mentality

Congress? Both Palin and McCain would appoint 2 Judges to the bench who would overturn Roe V Wade. They admitted this much.

A terrible, life altering thing to happen, but what the fuck was she doing walking alone at 3:30 at night on fucking Hillsborough street... that's fucking stupid.

Yup, no reason to even bring her up. Sure, she put herself in a situation for potentially bad things to happen by being out, alone, in the middle of the night, but more to the point, what does it say about our society that you can't feel safe out in public regardless of the time? Why is human excrement like this dude ever let out of prison or not terrified of the consequences of committing a crime like this?

Im not saying she deserved to get raped. What I am saying is why was she walking alone at 3:30 in the morning when she (hopefully) knows that there are creeps out there like this? There are just some situations you should know better than to put yourself in

regardless of what kind of marshmallow, milk-and-honey world you'd like to dream about, the fact remains that people like this ARE out there. You can't just look at society and wonder why people like this are out there. Sure, it helps to get these people off the streets, but at the same time you can't ignore reality and throw caution to the wind.

^ You won't find me walking down any street alone at 3:30 am

I don't worry about it because:

1 - I'm a guy
2 - I'm a pretty big guy
3 - I know how to defend myself
4 - I'm not stupid enough to resist an armed assailant

However, I will acknowledge that she probably should have either cabbed it, or had someone walk with her, etc. It's never a good idea to expose yourself to potential harm if it can be simply avoided. This in no way mitigates the culpability of shitface the crackhead in this case. If anything it simply adds blame to people like us as a society for not forcing our lawmakers to crack down on violent crime and to the police who would rather allocate resources for patrolling apt. complexes for parties than patrolling high crime areas.

What does it say about humans you mean? Rape has always been part of any human society, you can't change that... And it's obvious to anyone that this is a problem in society, so she set herself up for it, yeah that sounds bad, but she could have easily taken steps to not be in that situation. It's not her fault, but she could have taken steps to prevent it by being smarter and more cautious.

True, violent and horrible crimes will happen as long as there are worthless people. What we should do, if we really care about a peaceful society and the safety of the citizenry, is to remove people from the society when they commit this type of crime and make the punishment so severe as to serve as a deterrent.

I'm telling you man, fewer laws, harsher penalties. It's what we need.

THE REASON HE ISN'T TERRIFIED OF THE CONSEQUENCES IS THAT HIS MINDSET IS NOT THE SAME AS YOURS. DUH!

HE IS THINKING "I WANT," "I NEED," "THIS IS MINE," "NOW." HE IS NOT THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE, HE IS THINKING ABOUT SATISFYING WHAT HE WANTS. OH, AND HE WANTS IT NOW. HE IS PROBABLY MENTALLY DISTURBED AND A CRACK COCAINE ADDICT AS WELL, WHICH ONLY SERVES TO FURTHER REDUCE HIS ABILITY TO CONSIDER CONSEQUENCES.

PLUS, COMING DOWN OFF OF COCAINE CAUSES AN URGE TO FUCK SON. IT'S WELL KNOWN SON. HE PROBABLY RAN OUT OF CRACK AND SINCE HE COULDN'T GET ANY MORE HE DECIDED THAT A RAP (RAP'D) WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.
