I never understood why someone wouldn't have common courtesy towards someone who is handling their f'n food.

A few people brought up turn signals in this thread and I am going to comment that people in general just need to be more focused on the road and not what is going on inside their car. If people were put in a position that forced them to focus on the road (such as riding a motorcycle) then people would be a lot better drivers. I look around me when I ride or drive a car and notice people:- putting on makeup- texting in their car- fiddling with the radio- putting on your brakes when there is absolutely no reason to- not using signals- putzin' along and not keeping up with traffic- speeding up while I am passing themHonestly, these things are seriously dangerous. I can drive up next to or behind someone and can tell whether they are good drivers and if I can pass them, I'll do so just to avoid their dumbassness...I know my post was about driving... but I guess being courteous is about using your resources to communicate with people on the road so no one gets hurt.

i pretty much always use turn signals out of habit. sometimes i don't when i'm literally the only car on the road like in my neighborhood or something.i also don't like when people ride my tail. especially since i drive pretty fast ANYWAY, there's no need. if you ride my tail (tale? no tail is right) i WILL slow down to like 35mph to piss you off more.

You can also turn your wiper blades on and clean your windshield... This way you don't have to slow down... the people behind you always love that [Edited on April 15, 2009 at 6:19 PM. Reason : jhg]

Don't hit your brakes hard. While they will be at fault, it's not worth dealing with the inconvenience of having to deal with an accident.Just tap them enough to slow down a little When I volunteer, part the why it does me good is that the folks we help polite. They say thank you, and it makes me smile so much. I'm always in a better mood leaving than when I arrive.
