I do think is kinda a dumb distraction issue by the libbies. Yet the GOP has mastered this sort of small jabs over insignificant issues.

Nonetheless I am still in disbelief that Palin spent 150K in two months on clothes and makeup for fucks sake. I am curious what teh break down is.

i went on that open secrets website and looked up David Plouffe's salary....it looks like he only gets paid $7,800 per month. that seems so low to me for what i think is such an important job. i couldn't find rick davis' salary listed on the mccain side. seems pathetic that a makeup artist/stylist got that much money though.

You must figure I'm pretty desperate. But if i was a virgin, and my death was imminent and certain, and she was in the sexiest lingerie on the planet begging me to give it to her, then i might consider it. I'm not really into moms or ultra conservative women.

I think it'd be more a hate-fuck.

And given the amount of children she's popped out, it'd be a hotdog down a hallway scenario.

i was watching elizabeth hessalback in florida intro Palin talking about how sexist it was that the media was attacking her for the clothes that she wore.

i couldn't help but laugh.

it's not sexism, it's calling out hypocrisy. just like it was when everyone jumped all over john edwards because of the $400 haircut

I don't hate Sarah Palin, one of the problems with the country right now is that so many people can't favor one thing politically without being absolutely in love with it and hating all the things and people associated with the other.

i dont hate her.

i hate the mentality that leads people to think we should teach children that the world is 6,000 years old and cavemen played with dinosaurs, is somehow a viable "scientific alternative"

i hate that people who adopt this attitude are so intellectually lazy that they think scientific research into fruit flies' genetic is a waste of time, and that the money could be better spent educating people on how to raise children with autism.

so no, i dont hate her.

i just want to throttle her and everyone like her.

I guess that makes sense, to hate someone means that you don't understand any good reason they should be like they are. I understand how creationists think that way, they don't understand what science is, or what the word "theory" means, and kind of see it as a game. But they must understand some things, they know that for their kind to survive they have to hinder good education. I still don't think that is evil so much as the kind of unaware use of strategy like you see commonly in nature.

Newsweek reporting Palin shopping sprees worse than originally reported:

From Politico:

Quote :
"“NEWSWEEK has also learned that Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family — clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent ‘tens of thousands’ more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide … said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.” "

Quote :
"“McCain himself rarely spoke to Palin during the campaign, and aides kept him in the dark about the details of her spending on clothes because they were sure he would be offended. Palin asked to speak along with McCain at his Arizona concession speech Tuesday night, but campaign strategist Steve Schmidt vetoed the request.” "

Thus confirming her status as a joke.

Good. Let's never speak of her ever again.
