^ Keep telling yourself that bullshit, Nancy.

Post-War Nuclear Assessments Iraq Survey Group Findings

Quote :
"Although it had not reconstituted its nuclear program, Iraq's nuclear ambitions had not disappeared. ISG claimed that Saddam saw Iraq's nuclear program as a logical result of scientific and technical progress and was unconvinced by the notion of non-proliferation. He considered nuclear programs a symbol of a modern nation, indicative of technological progress, a by-product of economic development, and essential to political freedom at the international level (what he described as 'strategic balance'). He wanted nuclear weapons to guarantee his legacy and to compete with powerful and antagonistic neighbors; to him, nuclear weapons were necessary for Iraq to survive."

2003?

LOL!

Look, I'm real sorry recent intelligence and military assessments (like the past few years) dont fit into your forced worldview.

well.... what an interesting insight into the mindset of someone who would not mind Sarah Palin being president.

anyhow. for reference, my points still remain:

Quote :
"still drinking the koolaid, i see.

(1) if Obama had his way, we would have never GONE into Iraq. Iraq, by ALL intelligence and military analysis, posed ZERO threat to the US or our allies.

In fact, all secular/Sunni Iraq actually did was act as a counterbalance to fundamentalist/Shi'a Iran. in hindsight, it's actually quite a bummer that we lost that.

and if when Obama has his way, we will finally deliver the troops and material necessary to Afghanistan to squelch the resurging Taleban, and perhaps even root out the single person responsible for planning the 9/11 attacks.

(2) the public votes otherwise

(3) nobody ever does. but he has the sense to understand where cuts need to be made. the only ones who have EVER balanced the federal budget AND created a surplus has been the Democrats.

George W. Bush ran his 2000 campaign on his presumed fiscal conservative roots and the fear that Gore would splurge and squander our historic surplus developed (amusingly enought) under Clinton. The irony of it all is that GWB blew our surplus and sent us further into debt than anyone could have imagined in their wildest nightmares.

sorry for you conservo-nutcases, but the public isn't buying it anymore.

dont let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, mmkay?

not sure what we are talking about

but if mike easly can take trips over seas and spend 50k of nc's money, palin can spend 150 of RNC's money

Bottom line: Palin's clothes will be returned to the RNC or donated to charity. And if she wore everyday clothes, the foaming moonbats would say she looked like a country bumpkin gone to town to spend the egg money.

STFU.

^ So if a country tries to develop nukes, the US should attack the country and destroy it?

If so, how come the US didn't attack Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea? And the first 3 actually have nukes... lots of them, for decades.

I will tell you why... because none of those countries pose or ever posed a threat to Israel. And none of them have oil. And none of them is an Arab [9/11 hijackers were Arabs] country.

joe has had gaffes, yes, but palin has a aura of stupidity surrounding her, joe knows his shit, she doesn't, its quite simple

So, even though Iraq had no nuclear program, we have to scared of it and invade, because they wanted one. Despite no evidence that they were acquiring any means to do so. (Hint: it's not exactly easy.)

Kind of the way I'm fairly sure that you, like most other normal people, want a million dollars that you don't have. So you should go ahead and tax you for it, because you obviously want it and would certainly take it if you could get your hands on it.

It's bulletproof!

and there are some other posters here that logic is so flawed you have to figure that the "black" issue is they main reason they are voting for McPalin.

Scared? If anybody's scared, it's far-left moonbats like many of the scalded howlers here.

Why do you think Palin's been attacked so viciously? Leftists have been scared to death of the Republicans own historic ticket--I mean, when in recent history has a VP candidate been so much at the center of attention and attacks?

you hear the media crazed bullshit and soak it up like a sponge ... yall dont know shit about her, nor have had the balls to actually give her a chance or even research her past (as far as the media has already done for you)... if you see a speech with a negative expectation, chances are, you will see what you want to see

^ Wait, so you now know what everyone knows about palin? You and burro seem to share the same psychic power.

And people don't dislike Palin because of her interviews, it's because of things like this http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=545821

And I actually watched one of her debates for Governor, and she's pretty much the same as she is now. She speaks very clearly and eloquently, but has no depth to her language. She spouts of meaningless platitudes that appeal to people who are likewise as ignorant, but she clearly has no idea what she's talking about. She seems to be more about gaining power and fame, than being a good leader.

sorry dude. you wish that was the case. but the reality is she has blown every single interview beyond anyones imagination.

her incompetence at the national level is unprecedented.

I mean, for chrissakes, she STILL doesn't even understand what the role of the Vice President is. She STILL thinks shes going to get down with the Senate and craft legislation.

Just this PAST FRIDAY, in her first major policy speech -- a policy speech based largely on her support for special needs children -- she ridiculed genetic research on FRUIT FLIES because it was displacing money from education on AUTISM.

That's right. Fruit flies. Whose DNA -- the majority of which is identical to humans -- is known to code the proteins involved in neural development, with direct implication on research into the causes of autism.

you just cant make this shit up.

TKEshultz, let me ask you something in all seriousness.

What do you feel Palin has brought positively to the McCain/Palin ticket, outside of being a champion of the Conservative Christian Right? And, do you feel, in all honesty, that she's helped or hurt McCain's chances in this election?

Also, if you feel she has hurt him, do you believe that it's her own doing or that it's being caused by a vast liberal media conspiracy?

Ahaha, yeah a little tounge-in-cheek there right?

What if he had picked Gingrich for VP? He's done a lot of decent and intelligent things in the last couple years and the ethics questions he faced aren't any worse than what Palin is currently facing.

Palin cameo helps "SNL" reach 14-year ratings high

http://www.reuters.com/article/televisionNews/idUSTRE49I34X20081019

^ This was just ten days ago--the nation is fascinated with Palin. I mean, we're talking about her right now.

If you think you won't see Palin on the national stage again or that she doesn't have a future in a national office, you're fucking dreaming. She will be back--and probably with a vengeance.

Besides, I heard that there may be an opening for a Republican senator in Alaska soon.

Perhaps aaronburro could stop foaming at the mouth long enough to watch this video and realize that not only did McCain do his own little "flip-flop" on public financing during the Republican primary, but he actually broke the law doing it because he used the promise of public financing to secure loans for his campaign...then he didn't actually use public financing.
