They also have a non-suede version.

i feel like they wouldn't be the best shoes for walking around as much as i do...it's not like it's power walking or anything, but i do spend ~8 hours walking around 5 nights a week. i had some really cheap sneakers before that i bought from Payless just because I didn't want to spend $texas on shoes i was just going to wear to work that would more than likely get dirty fast, but i've started having back/feet problems, plus someone puked on them and they weren't salvageable so i've just been wearing some black flats that i have (from target) which is AWFUL. i really need to buy some good walking shoes to wear but they're expensive. the best one's i've found are NB and are supposed to be good walking shoes for people with high insteps.

tww is a blog?

yeah...the ones i've found that i like and aren't expensive don't have great insteps, though - they seem better for people with flat feet.

btw....it was a sunday service with some kind of "jesus party" right after. I was there because I was roped into helping with grilling out for all those folks. I knew I would be outside all afternoon so I thought it would be cool.

I have the Croc Capris, most comfortable flip flops EVER.

My Aunt loves these, thinks they're the most comfortable heel she's ever worn:

And I would like these, but I won't pay $280 for a pair of shoes, ever:

every retailer has these pieces of crap on clearance now. They have to sell their product somehow so they're weirding them up to sell in Japan

^Not true. At the toy store I worked at for 2 1/2 years, crocs were, and are the number 2 selling item in the store. Crocs generated a big chunk of the revenue. Granted we carried the Caymans, Capris, Mary Janes, Alices and other of the more popular styles. We don't carry any of the strange junk.

everyone in the kitchen where i used to work wore them and they tried to make me get them too....because my feet always hurt. and i ruined like 901982392 pairs of shoes working at a bar. i think they would be good for restaurant work (good for your feet i mean...i don't know how durable they are). but how much are they? like $30? that is as much as a kind of cheapy pair of tennis shoes. if they are durable i feel like they'd be good. drs and nurses wear them and they are on their feet longer than 8 hours sometimes (well crocs and danscos...which aren't cheap and you would not want to ruin in a bar haha).

you do see a lot of crocs around the hospital. i wore them for a while and the were comfortable. Then i got a new pair of danskos.... they are worth every penny. NB 992s are good. Anything new balance is good.

Cheaps shoes don't have enough support in them.

protect your feet, they are the only ones you have, if you fuck them up you are screwed. the wrong shoes can accentuate any pronator, or supinator issues you may have which will lead to knee, hip, and back problems.

if you HAVE to wear cheap shoes, i suggest you go to the walking co at triangle town center or cary town center and have them fit you for a pair of linco inserts. they have them for dress, athletic, and casual shoes. they run about 60-70 bucks, but they are quite comfortable. and the pressure plate can tell them where you place most of your weight while standing. the machine then recommends the best insole.

so if you cant afford danskos, these are the next best thing.

I agree, I wouldn't wear them either. But to give them credit, they do look better on. Not enough that I would wear plastic heels, but still a bit better. I was actually surprised when she told me she bought them, usually she doesn't buy anything that I could even consider affording.

Good lord Crocs are a sign of the downfall of society. Anyone see Idiocracy? See what everyone was wearing? That's right, Crocs. If that's not reason enough to avoid the damn things check this out.

I was wearing crocs before everyone was wearing them...but then again I only wore them while I was screwing around...they were like the shoes that you put on when I have to run outside real fast or when I'm washing the car or the dog, or it the summer I would wear them when it rained. I also hiked up a mountain in them.

Then they got popular and everyone started to wear them all the time and I was one of those people that said fuck it.
