the thing I liked about South Beach Diet is that the weight came off from the middle of your stomach. So after 2 weeks, your stomach doesn't pudge out as much as it did before.

there's nothing inherantly unhealthy about south beach or atkins. Some of the custom foods made by the south beach and atkins brands are absolute garbage because of the crap they are made out of, but that doesn't detract from the diet any more than sugar free ice cream makes low-fat diets a joke.atkins and south beach are much easier diets to adhere to, which gives them a slight edge over low-fat diets for many people. The most effective diet is the one you'll stick to and be informed about.
