I look down because I'm shy, and I'd rather avoid awkward attention than otherwise....

I think it's fairly common with girls with many things on their minds such as school projects....

When I smile at guys when I'm on the clock at work, they might give me more money. Then, after I'm off the clock and I see them then they try to come sit with me or something unless I don't look at them.

Guys are dense and many have not figured out women are whores. I don't get it.

But if you're at a club--even if you're with your boyfriend--and you accidentaly make eye contact with a douchebag he'll come over and try to be a douchebag to you.
