if he's a moron, and you got duped by him...........well, i think that makes you a moron as well
as far as the "wars".......if i recall correctly, the nation overwhelmingly had initial support for the idea of retaliation....which means the president was more or less acting on behalf of his people
sure it went downhill rather quickly, but at least give him that shred of credit11/6/2008 3:32:32 PM |

It's pretty funny that nobody wants to publish a Bush memoir. Some "legacy". 11/7/2008 1:04:26 PM |

^^i'm guessing you didn't really read the post then.
i didn't vote for him, in either election. and i said that i supported the war in afghanistan, and i still do. it's the war in iraq that i was initially against, and i still am. a president can't just roll with the tide of the public, as our collective opinion sways with the wind and is subject to drastic change every day. a president is supposed to be calm and rationale in his judgement.
bush's manipulation of the publics opinion to support his hidden agenda will always be his biggest legacy, in my opinion.
V entering a stupid war in iraq? getting saddam hussein out of power? convincing the american public that iraq had weapons of mass destruction and posed an immediate threat to our nations security? i hope you don't still think that was warranted, unless you're suggesting that it wasn't all that "hidden"?
