Well, I finally got this through Goozex, and after about an hour of play, I can say I am extremely disappointed. I don't know if it's the horrible D-pad, the lame cutscenes that you can't skip, or the dumbing down of the violence that made MK, but I think the series needs to rest now.

I'll probably play it a bit more, then flip it online.

Such a shame.

I can also see DC Comics not wanting their trademark characters portrayed in really graphic death scenes outside of their own comic books. Its one thing for Sub-Zero to simply "defeat" Batman, but its another for Batman to have his spinal chord ripped from his body.
