If you are going to do the best buy route, make sure you have in hand
1) A copy of the ToysRus ad (either from today's newspaper or print a screenshot of the ad)
2) A print out of the bestbuy price match faq that I posted on the previous page
3) And toysrus phone number just in case.

You never know if you'll get an anal BB manager, just best to always be prepared.

yeah, like the other dude said. you gotta download it now through live. after a bunch of people burned the japanese demo they put some kind of protection on it that prevented you from loading it from a disc.

So many guns, so little slots. You have a pistol, sniper, shotgun, machine gun, grenade launcher, and rocket launcher and ammo for each with only 9 slots and you have to hold armor and heals and 'nades, its pretty annoying

I've already started upgrading my old shotgun but I'll probably try the other weapons after one run through. Sheva shoots her pistol way too damn much so I can see giving her all the pistol ammo. Still gotta try the rocket launcher and grenade launcher though and use a shotgun and machine gun.

9 slots may not be seem like a lot but sheva as a pack mule can provide 9 more.

If you ever played the old resi evils Jill and Chris only had 8 and 6 slots, respectively. With one of those spots holding your ink ribbons to save.

Hahaha damn I remember on the first RE when Chris only had 6 slots that was a pain too. And aside from the ink ribbon, you had to carry around the lighter and kerosene too so you could light the zombie corpses on fire, else they come back as those scary as fuck red zombies that run all over the place.

fully upgrade the ithaca m37 and you get a very nice surprise B-)

this game is pretty sweet and the three barrel shotgun is fucking awesome as hell.

just guessing here:

some kind of analyst realized that this game will be mostly popular towards kids around college age. and since most college students are on spring break this week, they will not be around to buy the game. typically people are more likely to buy a game on release day since its "new and exciting" and everyones buying it. many times people are displeased with a game only a few days after purchasing it. if they release it on tuesday, then that'll be 3 whole days for non-college people to critique the game, pass judgement to the college people, and then the college people will not purchase the game if that judgement is bad.

The Lickers are back

The grenade launcher is back, with all the different rounds (explosive, acid, flash, flame, etc)

My only complaints are that the game is MUCH shorter than RE4 and the merchant is gone. :-(

As posted earlier, I couldn't stand the demo, but bought the game anyway since I'm a RE fan and was hoping to be proven wrong. Sure enough, I have to say I've been hooked all day. Really good game and I see alot of replay value out of this with the co-op feature. Sheva is nowhere near as annoying as I was scared she might be.

I have the opposite problem, I give my Sheva only the Handgun and one of the machine guns that can hold a clip of over a 160. We share handgun ammo, but only she has a MG, but she refuses to use it. She is currently taking up three slots worth of MG ammo because she won't use the handgun until I start withhold handgun ammo from her. Even then she'll find some handgun ammo on the ground and switch back to it.

i'm new to the resident evil series, and at first the controls felt very fucky. after a while though i got the hang of it and the game is extremely fun, just owned the zombie boss guy with the chainsaw (took many grenades and back and forth running down the alleyway while shooting barrels.)

Well I haven't gotten too far in the game but at least in Resident Evil 4, you could examine the treasure. If it said something like "It looks like there is a slot where something might fit in" then you could put jewels in it and make it waaaaaay more valuable. If it didn't mention anything about a slot then sell it right away. I sold that clock that was in the chest and that picture of the woman right away.

how the fuck do you kill that uroboros boss where they give you the rechargeable flamethrower? my roommate and i tried to kill it for over an hour last night. every time we'd manage to shoot a bunch of those orange sacks it would dematerialize itself and then pop up somewhere else back to normal.
