I'm going to throw Westwood Studios in here for the C&C series. Nothing like dialing up your friends and playing Red Alert without an internet connection, circa 1996.

Dune II for Westwood. Pretty much started RTS games. I loved that game, probably the first PC game I was addicted to.

I just feel that Capcom throughout the years has released the most innovative games that were also fun to play.

Look what they did with the Resident Evil franchise. I thought they couldn't go any further with it and they go and revamp the gameplay with that innovative over the shoulder aiming system that was great fun. Now lots games are using it.
