OMG, I have watched it until 3:00 I am shocked the guy is still alive, and very much conscious... I can't even begin to imagine how much pain he must be in. Who made it that far?[Edited on January 23, 2009 at 9:55 PM. Reason : ]

That guy is dead at that point. His body is just in throes. He has lost about 30% os his blood, and his brain is probably in a few pieces. He is not conscious. You think he is, just like those boys do as well. I have witness many death, not human, but mammalian, and I can tell you will 100% certainty that man in dead at that point. His body is just reacting to delayed nerve impulses.[Edited on January 23, 2009 at 9:57 PM. Reason : /]

Not at 3:00, now even at 3:52.He is breathing VERY VERY heavily, and sounds like he is drowning in his own blood VER VERY slowly.
1/23/2009 9:56:32 PM
THROES.Does this word mean anything to you? Have you witness over 1000 deaths?
1/23/2009 9:57:55 PM
Define death. At 4:32, both his arms move great distances, as well his head. And they were not twitches either, but deliberate movements. He is still breathing/drowning VERY loudly, as loudly as a kid blowing raspberries.I have had a goar slaughtered in front of me some years ago. The dude cut its neck (jugular and carotid), drained its blood, skinned it, disemboweled it, cut out its flesh, cubed it into 1 inch cubes, and piled the cubes high onto a big plate. After all that, some of the cubes of goat meat in the pile were twitiching, some 15-30 minutes after cutting of the neck, I swear to God. And during the skinning and cutting, there was a lot of movement of various body parts, but it was all twitchy and jerky, not smooth deliberate movements.

Define death. When you are no longer conscious to the world and your consciousness will not return. There.

Don't watch 5:22... too painful to watch. Yeah well, as I said, it has been 5 minutes, and he is still gasping for breath very loudly, and moving his arms, head, and his belly is going up and down. That's very connscious to me.Neither of us are experts in this field, so we can have our own opinions.
1/23/2009 10:09:23 PM
I am an expert. He is dead. I have seen death more than you will ever see working in the animal field.
1/23/2009 10:10:56 PM
Explain this to me:At 5:22, this is what happens:
1/23/2009 10:15:00 PM
Yep. That doesn't mean he is conscious. Nerve impulses still work after death.
1/23/2009 10:15:59 PM
^^True,But definitely not the worst thing you can see on the internet. Stop sensationalizing it, pussies.[Edited on January 23, 2009 at 10:18 PM. Reason : Not @ seedless, he's dumb.]
1/23/2009 10:18:13 PM
It not that it is the worst, its just its real murder and not instant death either.^ OK I'm dumb. Haha.[Edited on January 23, 2009 at 10:23 PM. Reason : /]

Just remember when they touched his eye he didn't flinch. That's one way to tell when an animal is dead, touch its eye. He only made what looked like deliberate movement when his brain was traumatized.[Edited on January 23, 2009 at 10:29 PM. Reason : /]

Champ, you are contradicting yourself, I think:
1/23/2009 10:28:56 PM
Nerve impulses and consciousness are not the same.Come on now are you serious?
1/23/2009 10:30:03 PM
One last comment to clear things up. You are speaking of complete and entire cellular death of an organism. I am speaking on not having consciousness and nor will it return. Death really can't be clearly defined by medical experts, but my expertise tells me my definition of death is viable. He was dead and not dead, how about that![Edited on January 23, 2009 at 10:45 PM.
