So is it just me or was it wrong for the packers to just take the knee and go in to OT?

I think they should have at least tried for some long ass magic and at least try for the touchdown rather than hoping to win the coin toss since their defense couldn't stop anything all game long.

You take a knee because if you try for something "magical" the same type of play that happened in overtime could have ended the game in regulation, and you have even less of a chance to win.
