Haha, Jekyll has tapped Oz on the head a few times for being annoying (getting in his face while he's trying to nap), but he's been a pretty good sport about being chewed on occasionally.

Oz has kept us up the last 2 nights with screaming and any other vocal noise he can create. First night we ended up taking turns sleeping in the bathroom with him because he cried so hard and so long in the crate that he started hyperventilating. Last night he was constantly waking up wanting to drink. But this would make him have to pee and we'd have to let him out. And at one point he was apparently starving and wouldn't be quiet until we fed him. This afternoon we were able to get him to stop crying in the crate (after about 30 minutes) and we all had a nice 2 hour nap... before Oz woke up and started wailing because he had to pee.

He's had a long day of going to the vet and socializing (MJ's parents and their dog came down to visit).

For the record, today he was 8 lbs 4 oz. I swear he's bigger than he was on Thursday. He's definitely appearing more coordinated since then. We'll see how much bigger he's gotten by 2 weeks when he goes back to the vet.

I think this is "froggy #3" or so. all the toys are technically our older dog's toys, but she doesn't play with them often or tends to fixate on one and ignores the other five.

So far Oz has claimed six or more of her toys, mainly because he really likes chewing on soft things right now. Gotta love teething.

Ugh, this is why we don't get to sleep at night. Here's how Oz spends about half of the day:

I just got a puppy on Saturday...it's definitely a challenge

he's been really good so far but you can tell he's just a baby...

he's had a couple of accidents in the house but nothing too major...

he's doing pretty good in the crate so far...he hates it when he first gets in but after about 5 minutes of crying he just shuts up and sleeps for a couple of hours at a time...or until he has to pee again...

he's peed in the crate a few times but i have it lined with sham wows so it's none too messy....i just hope he stops that soon

today is his first day alone but i'm going to run by the house on my lunch break to feed him and let him out to play for a bit

Cuteness overload. He's starting to look more Rottweiler and less Furball.

Today:

He doesn't understand BEDS

Trying to eat cats

A rare moment of quiet in the crate:

he's over 10 weeks now. i suspect he's about 20 lbs or more.

and as you can see, he loves snow:

and this was on valentine's day, when he discovered beer (and obviously liked it).

Are both the dogs yours? Oz and Dizzy? Do they still wrestle? Any videos of them wrestling now that Oz is big?

We guess he'll hit about 110-120 by the time he's fully grown. We own both Dizzy and Oz, and they wrestle a LOT. In the end, she always wins.
No new videos, since every time I get the camera out she stops and stares at it.

jekyll isn't declawed (none of our cats are).
and yes, both of our dog have batman name tags.

oz is weighing in now at 50 lbs, just a few days shy of 5 months old.
