^^ Hey, I am going to accept shitty writing and corny crap. The movie can be about anything it wants to be, that doesnt excuse them from quality writing. For example, the first Indiana Jones and the last Indiana Jones were both "fun, adventure films", but one is really really good, and one is really really shitty. I dont settle for crap like you. I don't know. Kinda fits in with the loose conglomeration of garbage standard that the first movie set. At least you can see elements of the vehicles in the robot form this time around.

What I think she's saying that when you make a movie that is trying to appeal to people from 6-60, you're going to need to throw in some scenes that one age group might not appreciate. I'm thinking that whole robots hiding from the parents thing was meant for a much younger age group.

Exactly what I been saying. My younger cousins that are elementary in age loved those scenes and loved those parts the most. Although I found it to be wasted time and hokey, the kids loved it.

Gotta give and take on these kinds of movies.

my absolutely only problem with the first movie is that it was impossible to tell what was going on in the action scenes. i love giant robots but that means shit when everything's a blur.

I'm with these guys. And the only reason they could even approach attaching the Transformer name to either of these is because they were able to use Peter Cullen. Other than that and it's just a movie about random garbage pile robots.

May be obvious, but the new trailer didn't do anything for me.
