Last year was awesome.

With a festival this big, it isn't about hoping there are enough acts to be "worth it" ... I would pay the price and go to last year's all over again and see 3-4 days worth of entirely different shows. The list of acts I missed is nearly as long as what I saw.

That said, I wish MMJ were back this year. Also, I forsee a late-night Phish/Mars Volta/Girl Talk/Animal Collective conflict ... they are all too perfect for 12-3 or 1-4 am...

i don't understand all the hating on last year's lineup. i'm not a big fan of metallica or kanye, but there were a lot of great performances. i'm also not big on jack johnson, but he's been on 4 of the lineups i think. this year's does look a little better though.

i cant really imagine seeing dillinger in that kind of setting. one of the craziest/best bands Ive ever seen live but its always been in a small to moderately sized club setting. saw them twice on the miss machine tour and it was just absolutely bonkers.

okenfold, girl talk, and pretty lights all playing at the same time is lame. i'll def be at one of them after phish though.

the only things i'm remotely upset about are St. Vincent being during Animal collective and Santigold during YYY's. Not that either is a touch choice at all, but I woulda liked to see St. Vincent and Santigold.
