We're going to have to play balls out to get to 8-8, but VT, BC, and UMD all have tougher schedules left. We may even pass one of them if we are 8-8 depending on tie breaks.

^ i would want to think that it would be possible to get to 8-8. If we could continue posting 80+ points a game it will happen. At 8-8, we need 2 acc tourney games, no matter where we are in the standings. What's annoying is that just because you finish above someone in the acc, doesn't mean that you are more likely to get in. Our OoC schedule was piss poor and we didn't even win one of the games prior to conference play. I think that we pull off one of the away games and finish 8-8(hopefully the next one). I do agree that it would be nice to jump up in the standings some more, and I think it's possible.

the next game at wake is our last chance until the acc tourney to get one more key win. if we get this game and go 8-8, we'll at least have 2 quality wins (both wake) and really no bad losses. Sure, we were up big on VT, but it's not a bad loss. An ACC team with 2 big wins and no bad losses that's 8-8 has to get some respect in the selection process. A lot of things depend also on the rest of the league and how it sorts out, however we play head-to-head a lot of teams that if we played well we can jump in the standings

All this said, keep up the mojo state and roll into WF with a great start again!

the thing i hate most about packpride is how james gravis and steve are all seen like gods

but they are all too scared to even ask questions at these press conferences and usually get a lot of their information based on other sources, yet call it something they "gathered up"

ahaha, i remember at the UNC game one year (04 I think) I actually had a sign that had a defaced picture of Dean Smith's book on one side that called it "the definitive guide to whining to the refs until you get the call" and on the other side it said packpride.com is garbage. They've always been awful. What are they saying these days? I haven't looked over there since the Herb thing.
