Being unable to beat the Temple or whatever on the hardest level was more or less responsible for the end of my interest in video games. I don't know if it was my controllers were worn out making precise moments harder or what, but I just couldn't get shit done.

I had a brief career in 99 wrecking some serious Quake shop around campus, but that was about it.

^Probably not. Rare, the company that made Goldeneye was bought by Microsoft, so there's the obvious conflict of interest there. I think a while back, M$ was trying to put out Goldeneye on XBLA but they needed some kind of deal with nintendo and they wouldn't do it....assholes

used to love this game, havent played in probably close to a decade... I cant remember, could you aim up and down with the gun or was it always just pointed out straight? reason I ask is that I am fucking horrible on FPS with consoles, cant aim worth a shit, end up aiming at the ceiling most of the time but I used to dominate at some Goldeneye... did you not have to move the gun up and down at all? I cant remember

you could using the c-up and c-down buttons. but there was shot assist or something that locked onto a target for you.
