They spend 75% of any game talking about anything but the game. The Raycom A-team at least stays focused on the game at hand.

We oddly enough beat a MD team that has just given up on the season

BC beats UVA easily, then beats Duke, and then we beat BC by 6

VT beats Miami, then loses to UNC in an exhausting game for both teams

CU beats GT, then loses to FSU in an easy game for FSU, who in turn barely beats a legless UNC team caught focusing on the NCAA Tournament, and then they face us and we get our revenge

Fells comes in and averages 4 3s a game and 18 ppg. Costner finds his stroke and plays like the 2007 ACC Tournament version of himself. Tracy does his regular thing and averages 14 ppg and 11 rpg. McCauley averages 9 ppg but puts up 17 against the BC front line and is the MVP of that game. Javi averages 10 ppg, but goes off for 21 against FSU and has a tournament assist to turnover ratio of 3:1. Fells is named the Tournament MOP. Tears fill the Raleigh area.

We go on to lose in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as an 8 seed, b/c well we aren't very consistent over a long stretch of time. All is well though b/c we got that trophy and that banner. And that's all that we really want right now anyways. Just something to put us back in the conversation with the top programs in the ACC.

unc could play their B-team and make it to the finals. the only team with a chance of beating them is FSU.

the bottom half of the tourney is a killer this year. Duke, Wake, BC, UM could all end up playing on Sunday

Well, at least we have one of the best roads to the semi-finals. Give me Maryland and Wake Forest over Duke and UNC and day. Sure, we are probably going to go done in flames the first round, but hey here's to dreaming.

I hope Costner just says fuck it, and knocks the ugly out of Vasquez (if that's possible).
