for all you porter lovers out there

go try theirs

its jizz in my pants worthy"

Seriously that place is terrible. Beer and food are both flavorless. I mean their Pale Ale is more Bitter than their Bitter. NO music/TV which sucks because it'd be nice to watch the game somewhere.

i only had their porter and i thought it was awesome

i could care less about there not being any tv's

it was strange not having any music playing, but i didn't mind it too much

my grandpa has talked to the owner a few times and he says he just wants it to be a neighborhood bar where people can come and drink and socialize without having to talk over music/tv

i kind of like that

Yeah I worked at Big Boss and we talked to the owner a bit; he has a horrible plan in place. I'm not crazy about a billion TVs, but two is always nice to see the local sports. I had all their beer and tried a bit of their food. I do not like porters at all, but I'll take your word for that being a good beer, but that's all that they have.

Raleigh Times >>>>>>> Boylan Bridge Brewery

The Raleigh Times doesn't have any tvs, either. Their music is always way too loud, and no one ever stops to see if you need anything. Boylan Bridge will be nice because of the patio with the awesome view. The owner was walking around talking to people the night I went, which was pretty cool. It was still pretty loud from people talking, but then again it was freezing outside and the place was packed. Plus it's like a 5 minute walk from my place. I went and sampled all the beers once, but can't remember which I liked the best. Trying to convince them to brew a wheat beer...
