On the one hand, I'm glad to see that more bars/restaurants are disallowing smoking, as I enjoy not coming home smelling like an ashtray when I go out. Plus smoking-related diseases place a large strain on our medical system and probably cause everyone's premiums to be higher than they might otherwise be.

On the other, tobacco money is good for the state's economy, and we can use all the help we can get right now.

Either way I'm glad I never started. Money is tight enough as it is...
