surprisingly, lots of retail is hiring. I guess they probably did what everyone else did and let go their seinor people with significant raises, full time hours and benefits and are now hiring at bottom of the barrel. It beats fast food work though if you are strapped for cash.

They have to get 60 days notice if the layoff is over a certain amount of people. This law was done mainly for textiles and big companies so they couldnt layoff 500 people without notice.
