I will express my frustration after watching that shoddy 2nd half performance last night.

My big problems:

1) Why the fuck didn't we throw it inside to Tracy Smith more? He barely touched the ball. He's pretty much unstoppable in the paint.

2) Quit lobbing up threes! WTF?! Every time we brought it down someone (Mays) took a poor 3 shot, over and over and over. If we had only thrown it inside to Tracy on a FEW of those possessions, theres the extra 6 pts we needed to stay in the game. This really pissed me off and reminded me of the NC State time about 5 years ago, when we lived and died on the three ball.

3) Why the fuck was Mays in the game to start with? He hasn't played at all lately. Degand is just as shitty. Gonzalez was doing OK. Gonzalez should have played more. The only reason Mays got so many pts is because he was hogging the ball, lobbing up shit shots all half. It was horrible. I was physically in pain watching the game inch away in the last 10 minutes because they kept coming down and lobbing a bad three shot INSTEAD OF GOING INSIDE TO TRACY/MCCAULEY DAMNIT.

4) Who is to blame? The players for making shit decisions on their shot selection? Or the coach who decides to let them deploy such a shite strategy. I like Sidney, but I have to say last night was a pure coaching problem. Take Mays out, tell them to go inside, game = win.

Because Sidney decided that he just didn't want to give the ball to Tracy. Even though Tracy has been a fucking rock this season, he said that he'd rather have Costner jack up 3s in transition. And he told our players to not have the balls to push the ball up the court when we had a man in front in transition.

Because we can not yet compete in a talented league with this coaching staff, we should just piss away the recruits we have coming. They obviously have no chance to make us a better team. I'm sure we could get much better ones for the next two years on short notice.

Hell, let's just kick all the players off the team too. Just go out and recruit a new basketball team. Lowe has already poisoned the well, can't let them infect anyone else.

i'm confused b/c before this year EVERYONE was saying you HAVE to give him 4 years so he can have a season with his own players, now they are saying you HAVE to give him 5 years so he can establish recruiting ties. i guess after that they will be saying you HAVE to give him 6 years.

obviously the thread ahs jumped the shark on the last page, but i want to go back to some serious discussion. in the credibility thread, i mentioned that finishing in the bottom 3 again was my breaking point where i wouldnt root for him to get fired, but i would understand if he was. i asked others to give their breaking point and they basically said he would have had to lose every game and jack off at midcourt during the acc tourney.

so the updated question, what would sid have to do next year to make you ok with him being fired?
