7) south park - certain episodes rank higher than anything on the list but as far as consistency goes, they're down here

Curb Your Enthusiasm? Simpsons? Mystery Science Theater 3000? How I Met Your Mother? Scrubs? Extras? Just to name a few...


Yeah yeah "RAWR MY OPINION IS BETTER THAN YOURS" but I'm just shocked at this - I watched the first four episodes of this show, and while not bad, it never made me think to place it that high on an all-time list. Has it gotten a lot better?

Got moved because of the Obama speech, and I guess ABC didnt want to push back the Scrubs finale (no idea why all the series are ending so early...arent there still 3 more weeks of sweeps?)

I think theres 13 episodes total, so 6 unaired...probably wont see them until the DVD release .

^^ yeah it was funny, definitely the best one I've seen but the main character, his daughter, lindsay bluth, and the girl he likes aren't that great to me

it's basically - wait for the scientists to show up

I'll give it another try and finish out the season later, I guess

And I realize they moved the episodes to Tuesday b/c of Obama last week. But that doesn't explain why my POS DVR decided not to record BOT or Scrubs. You fucking piece of shit!

I was thinking during the 2nd episode that Porcha di Whatever is not really a very strong character on the show, for as much face-time as she gets, then at that minute, the magic show started, and.......

Overall, this is a good show (of course, easily one of the best comedies on TV now), but the humor feels somewhat heavy-handed and obvious some of the times - mostly in the narration, and in some of the banter. Arrested Development sometimes had some heavy-handed and obvious narration, but at least with AD, the narrator kept an ironic attachment to what he was saying. Most of Ted's narration just feels like it's pretty straight-forward like "here, let me fill in the joke for you, because you, as an audience, are not very smart" (which, of course, may be true.....).
Just a small comment, though - will continue to watch. If it's still on, that is? Why are they showing the "season finale" in the middle of the summer?

I've enjoyed the show too, but the timing us this and little advertisement has me feeling they are just finishing off the episodes they had left and it isn't being renewed?
