I think he is going to Kentucky, taking Cousins with him (and probably Henry) and will have them back in one to two years. There is no doubt he is a phenomenal recruiter and coach. His success speaks for itself. We would have probably been in the sweet sixteen this season if we had landed him a few years ago.

So apparently what happened is after UK's initial offer to Calipari, the Memphis AD gave him a counter offer that Cal considered insulting. That's when all the quotes from the players and such came out that it was a done deal. Afterwards the big Memphis boosters (FedEx CEO, some other billionaire), basically told the Memphis AD to stfu and had a private meeting with Cal where they offered him what amounts to a retirement package. He'd be getting paid an unprecedented salary for any level of coaching, be given a private jet, etc.... That happened late last night so I guess he's making his decision now. The word out of Memphis though is that he's probably still going to UK.
