Man fuck the NCAA. They are a bunch of hypocrites. Did anyone see that special before the games where they were talking about the schools and their involvement with corporations, how they wanted to preserve the amateurism, and didn't want the players to become walking billboards? That's one reason why they have sacrificed venue intimacy for revenue by hosting the Final Four in domes, and go around nazi like making people put candy/drinks of non-sponsors in cups bearing the logo of an official sponsor (Dasani, Vitamin Water, etc.). They also go through the trouble to cover up advertisements in arenas from non-sponsors including making the RBC Center roll up the NHL banners when it hosts NCAA men's and women's games. And since the NCAA is all about the money, they also will never come down on the big time programs for fear of it hurting the sport. They'd rather "make an example" out of the little guy.

ive never seen teams have their worst games of the tournament against the same team... i know some of it is that UNC is playing really well... but good lord nova couldnt have threw a ball in the ocean tonight... same with OU

I'm just glad I don't live in the Triangle anymore and have to see all of the news stations covering those idiots on Franklin St. jumping over fires. I wonder what the predicted number is this year on how many of them will end up jumping into each other mid-air, resulting in them falling into the fire and having to go to the hospital for 1st and 2nd degree burns like in 2005. I think 4 or 5 of them had to be treated last time.

Yeah I don't know what is, but every team that plays Carolina just totally forgets how to shoot. It's not even about defense, they just straight up can't make wide open shots to save their lives.

I respect Ty Lawson, even though I do not appreciate him. Point guards who constantly carry the ball as they dribble irritate me, but T.L. does not carry that much. He plays good fundamental basketball and hardly ever misses a layup. Much more respectable than that flip-flopper fag Hansbrough.

before yesterday i was convinced that UConn was the only team that could take down UNC but then i remembered something....... MSU beat Louisville, UConn, and Kansas (defending champs and 2 #1 seeds)........3 teams they weren't supposed to. I hope to GOD they have one left in them... i dont know about you guys but i just can't bare to see them enshrine Hansbrough as a golden god.. Exactly, sure hearing the story about playing through a toe boo-boo gets annoying, but I can respect Lawson. He's the opposite of hansbrough.

Lawson is a small guy, but he is fast, good at handling the ball, great at shooting, hes got the skills.

Hansbrough lacks all of the above, he is just a tall, strong player that gets to the free throw line, while lacking the ability to breathe through his nose.

If the media is gonna have a hard-on for a UNC player, they should fap it to Lawson or Ellington, not Hansbrough.

In the few times that we had celebrations/riots at State during my time there I saw plenty of fires, but never saw any idiots jumping over them. And believe me I saw some idiots. During the 2002 Clemson aftermath there were people, breathing fire, climbing up light and sign poles, and jumping on top of the news vans, but it was fairly under control. Nowhere near what the Maryland students are known for. I'll say this if we ever win the National Championship again, Hillsborough St. will be burnt to the ground. Heck it might even happen if we win an ACC Championship in football or basketball.
