What if Alex Rodriguez (left) had been traded to the Red Sox in 2003? Let's take a look through a Bostonian lens.

Thanks Yahoo! I was always wondering!

I knew that shit was gonna happen as soon as they put Howell in the game today. He needs to get his head back from out of his ass. He's sucking it up hard this year...

More on Crawford's 6 SB: http://www.baseball-reference.com/sotd/archives/1490

He was just the third guy to do it since 1954, preceded by Eric Young and everyone's favorite crackhead, Otis Nixon.

I had forgotten how dangerous Young was on the basepath. Dude stole 53 in 96, the same year as the 6 steal game, and stole 50+ two more times.

Anyone willing to bet on whether Ricky Henderson tries to come out of retirement again to one-up Crawford?

Rays had some kind of lineup error where they had 2 third basemen and no DH, so it looks like Longoria is going to get benched so pitcher Andy Sonnanstine can bat 3rd in the lineup!

ok so i was wrong about oswalt...astros lost, he got the no decision, still 23-1

scherzer is having a career day...5 innings pitched, 10 strikeouts, 4 hits, no walks, and an RBI double

Maybe next time we come in, we'll have some candles and holy water," Rays manager Joe Maddon said. "I have no good explanation for this."

God, what a miserable 4 days of baseball I've watched...

what do they do when manny comes back? i'm sure they won't trade anybody and obviously manny will start, so does Pierre take Ethier's spot? Or does he just play like 1/2 time and fill in to give everybody a day off?

probably some kind of platoon rotation between Ethier/Kemp/Pierre depending on who's hot, if they're facing a RHP or LHP, etc
