Save it as every possible format Word will let you.

Take all those files and then put them into a .zip, a .rar, a .tar.gz, a .ace, and .7z.

Attach all the archives to the email and send it.

You're also gonna want to put those up on some webspace and include links in the e-mail, in case their mail server fucks with the attachments.

^^You forgot .sitx ... it's not a good idea to ignore the Mac people, they get a bit sensitive sometimes if you do.
