My cal 3 professor freshman year at state was some russian woman who spoke little english and "taught" by literally reading from the book line-by-line. she never understood our questions which were numerous because we couldnt understand her. all three tests were completely multiple choice (no partial credit, we didn't even turn in our scratch paper) and she, of course, allowed for a missing that negative or not carrying that "1" in the available answers. fortunately cal 3 is just cal 2 in the third dimension, so it wasn't too hard to teach myself.
