I think I have accepted the fact that I will not settle just to be with someone, after watching tons of people get married and pop out kids and all the shit that comes with it I think I am pretty content with being single. So unless I meet someone pretty awesome and who hasnt put on all this weight you speak of by the time they are in the real world then Im ok with only having myself to worry about and be responsible for thank you.

amen. nothing pisses me off more than seeing a girl in clothes that don't fit her properly. i wish these girls would understand that if you wear clothes that actually fit your body, you'll look thinner than squeezing into a size (or two or three) too small and having your gut and muffin top spilling out.

^^^ the only thing i don't like in the quoted post are the numbers, otherwise i agree. unless you are like 4ft 9, a 120lb person rarely looks fat. and a 110lb person, i would venture to say, NEVER looks fat. and there isn't a lot of difference in the sizes these two people wear. both still wear pretty small sizes.

but i agree. squeezing is bad. which is why i don't understand why a bell doesn't go off in people's heads. like ding ding ding...my clothes are getting tight, maybe time to exercise!! but i guess most of the people that are squeezing into sizes too small are probably delusional anyway. wearing bigger sizes isn't always bad. if you wear over a size 4 you probably have hips and boobs and maybe even both. then there are those of us with no boobs. what a rip off.

oh i agree. 110 and 120 is still tiny. i had just agreed with the fact that people will gain weight and think they can still fit into their original clothes.

I get pretty grossed out when girls wear jeans and their love handles protrudes over the waistline of their jeans... and they wear a tight shirt that accents their gut... gross...

I saw the back end of this one chick and noticed she had the smallest ass (where the jeans fit) but when she turned around her gut sagged over her jeans and I wanted throw my lunch away after seeing that.

I can't manage that. I get too sweaty at the gym, and don't have long enough breaks to properly shower off, nor do I feel like lugging toiletries and a towel to work every day. My gym is located in this business park though, so I usually go straight there after work for an hour. But if I have anything going on that night from 7pm onwards I have to skip the gym b/c there's no time.

And in regards to the main topic at hand, I've had this problem with a few girlfriends in the past (them gaining weight). Funny thing is every girl I've ever considered my girlfriend is now married or engaged.

Interestingly enough, I'm about 20-25lbs heavier than I was in college. However I still fit perfectly fine in clothes I still have from those years, so all the weight's in the right places

Ditto. I always find it VERY HARD to go to the gym after going home first. I need to force myself to go there RIGHT from work... if I go home, the only reason I'm going out is for dinner or drinking.

I love the actual working out part. Getting the motivation to drive after getting home from work is a whole other story.

its all about motivation. i can easily go home from work and then head to the gym, especially if im in a good mood. if im feeling whatever, i'll just put on some inspirational music to get me there. its all about why you're trying to work out and how badly you want to achieve your goal.
