Yeah... oops sorry.. I have had a long week... pretty exhausted from all these surgeries and stuff :-(

And overexposure to the sun CAN mean a nice glowing tan. You can get a tan, but you have no idea just how much UV radiation you are being exposed to especially since our ozone layer is constantly being eaten away.

But then again... I haven't done much reading on overexposure and sunburn etc. So I could just be paranoid.

But I guess as long as I feel healthy and happy, I will probably slap on at least a 15 to 30 spf when i go out to the lake or beach... Cause i love being out in the sun!! Especially when its warm out...

Normal colored moderate skin is far more attractive than either.

Though it doesn't take much tan for me to consider it "too much". If it looks fake or if they look like they tan for the sake of having a tan, I'll lose interest quickly.

As for pale girls... not particularly attractive unless they've got red hear, because it's somewhat normal for redheaded girls. And I have a thing for redheads so that kind of helps too.

the only thing about tanning beds that is really attractive to me is how they feel. but then i rediscovered hot baths. i just want to fall asleep somewhere warm.

i mean i know i look better tan, but let's talk in 50 years. i hopefully won't have leathery skin. that is really what i'm scurred of. i don't want to be a leather face.

also i have freckles so i don't want skin cancer, either.

I mean, if you have a 9-5 and you can't sit out and lay around the pool all day like college kids, tanning beds come in handy. I love tanning. I'm not afraid to admit it. I like the calming relaxation I get from laying in the warm bed with fans blowing on you and peaceful music on. Laying in the bed for 12-15 minutes = 2 hrs or so of laying out. So if you're schedule doesn't allow that, tanning bed is a feasible option.....why "feel a little sorry"?

Also my reason for tanning is IMO it looks EXTREMELY SEXY to have a base tan going. Overly tan/orange tans are NOT FTW however. Plus, when I'm tanning, it's a self-esteem booster. IT REALLY IS. I've heard several people say this. I'm all for ego boosters and things that make you more confident or happy with yourself. Life's lil' pleasures.......ahhhhhhhhh.

actually I am supposed to go by my Dr. since I have extremely low vitamin D. The prescription pills are expensive. I haven't been in two months but have been trying to go outside and do yard work and drink some more milk when I can, and vit. D enhanced orange juice. I know I gotta go to the tanning bed soon, but am putting it off. They feel amazing, you could just fall asleep in them, but I know they are bad in the long run for my skin. I have had 4 relative that have had skin cancer removed in the past year, and we aren't even that pale. As a kid they called me the little indian I was so tan.

but only for the wedding and only 8-10 minutes once a week...then i'll stop. and i won't be brown either...i'll still look like me.

but last year i went a handful of times to clear u some acne i had (mmmhmmm, ACNE!) and kind of enjoyed going to the beach for the first time and not burning. and i always use SPF30 at the beach, but that little bit helped.
