In fairness, bandwagon fans always get derided. The fact that there wasn't a peep out of you about the Caps until they started winning and Ovechkin started doling out blowjobs says quite a bit.

But there will always be bandwagon fans, and when teams are winning and the bandwagon fills up, a small percentage of them manage to stick even when the team sucks again.
