Is there any conservative voice anywhere on TV or radio that doesn't have the hate and rage that comes with it?

I try several times a week to tune into Savage, Boortz, and Rush, and I just don't care to hear a bunch of old white dudes prattle on and feign outrage and yell into their mics with their shrill voices about the end of the world and such.

Are you kidding? Fox loves their guests with opposing points of view to their conservative views.

"i think all television media does a horrible job differentiating between news and commentary"

i just heard a story on Fox News Special Report (where my grandmother gets most of her news.....) about the torture memos and their detrimental affects on US security. The whole thing was basically a commentary disguised as news. The "reporter" was snarky the whole time, making sarcastic remarks between the quotes from talking heads, and he ended with something like "So water boarding is no longer allowed, but ironically, Obama has approved of targeted arial bombings on Al Queda leaders, killing the terrorists and any women and children in their houses. Is water boarding really worse than that? Bret."

well, i'm sorry - i don't watch Fox News regularly (i don't have cable at home) and I happen to be watching a lot of it while visiting my grandmother. And pretty much every show I watch confirms all the stereotypes about the channel.

"Remember the big uproar a few months ago when an anonymous source said O'reilly was given talking points by the Bush Admin to use on air"

uhh.... Scott McClellan said that, and I think he would know. And the same thing was reported a couple years ago and I think it was basically confirmed by the WH press secretary at the time, but no one made a big deal about it.

I agree - you left wing nuts will never make it in the "real world" after college

uhh, you realize most of the "left wing nuts" posting in this thread graduated several years ago and are doing just fine for ourselves (of course.... saying nothing about why the hell we're still hanging out on this message board...).
I guess I could say the same for you, though - you College Republicans are going to have a hard time making it in the "real world" when you realize that not everybody fits into the nice little stereotypes you're parents taught you.

I'm not a republican, and if you think about it the democrats break people down by stereotypes more than republicans do. A good example of this is affirmative action. Not all democrats believe in this but the far left does.
