I would stick with the lions, and if you want to root for another team while waiting for them to start winning, pick one that is in the AFC so there aren't any conflicts, because god knows lions aren't going to the super bowl anytime soon. So then it depends on if you want to cheer for a team because they will win (Patriots) or because of wolfpack affiliation. I would suggest the Chargers or the Texans. Texans are new, no bandwagon fans, have mario and Hill, but probably won't be winning a whole lot. Chargers have Rivers and should win their fair share of games.
