as i grow to know people over the years i slowly close the distance we stand while in conversation. with the higher comfort level that comes in time in a relationship my goal is to actually be at the point of touching noses before my best friends realize that i am too close.

i have panic attacks if im not completely connected at all times.

which, doesn't work well b/c im rather absent minded also.

once i broke into a sweat and got shakey hands nervous b/c i couldnt find my phone and it was in my pocket.

i completely despise doctors and hospitals, which is weird b/c my dad's a doctor and i spent plenty of time in hospitals as a kid.

often i'll just refuse to go to a doctor when i need to, like last week when i basically cut off a large portion of my finger. just gauze/tape it up and man up.

i'm very tall.

i was married for 2.5 years.

i have a semi-moderate paranoia.

very OCD with ticks i notice every day but continue doing for to battle the paranoia.

ocd has led to being a perfectionist.

i don't like big dogs for reasons i don't remember.

i don't really know what happened to me in my childhood because i've convinced myself of things so well i remember it better than what did happen. (confirmed by comparing what i thought to what my parents told me, biggest example with the death of my grandfather)

sometimes i pat women (closer friends mostly) on the head and say "its ok hun" when they say something i don't agree with. i don't do it because i am actually looking down on them. I do it because i know it makes them mad.

I have a torn ligament in my elbow that I never had repaired because I didn't want to go through the rehab and all that that entails because I knew my baseball "career" was over.

Every time I throw it swells up and turns bright red. It's cool.

when i was really little i got diarrhea really bad and ended up dehydrated and had to spend a few days in the hospital. i don't remember it, but my mom has this picture of 2 yo river rat cruising around in a hospital gown that's way too long pushing my IV stand thing around.

my grandaddy used to call me "River Rat" when i was little because whenever i tried to say "cigarette" it came out sounding like "river rat". me and my sister call him "Monk", but his name is Ray.

i lived in Italy for about three months one summer when i was 14....alone.

When I came back to the US i lived partially in my hometown and an apartment in New York (mostly NY, but i came home for a weekend about every month) for about a year ...I was homeschooled during this.
