Superchevy, if you had read what I wrote, I stated that wealth is not as important of a factor. This goes against the procreation concept, which usually suggests that men with more money provide better security for offspring with a greater chance of carrying on the bloodline successfully.

i did read what you wrote. the problem with your reasoning is that it is immature and shallow. you assume that women are attracted to popular men, because they believe being with that particular man will increase their own exposure or elicit attention. that's how men think; not women. men are the ones who want to expose themselves to as many potential mates as possible. women want the best possible mate. in other words men are primarily driven by quantity; whereas women are motivated by quality.

women look at a guy held in high regard by other women and think, "what is it about him that is drawing other women". they're intrigued. they assume he possesses some highly desirable trait(s), whatever it may be (wealth, unique skill, health, breeding, etc.), and are compelled to seek it out. sometimes women do this consciously, and sometimes it's a subconscious and instinctual act.

Really, that's how men think? Yes, because generally speaking, men are the ones that wear makeup, have excessive amount of material things, spend their time listening to what their friends think instead of themselves, are overly concerned with their physical appearance, and on average get more plastic surgery than women... You basically just restated what I already said, Congratulations. This all boils down to the attention that men receive from other people in general, specifically women. The elements behind the attention, as I previously stated, money, are not as important as the initial attention received. You can tie physical attractiveness, power, money, height, and anything else you want into my basic theory. Attention, first and foremost. Attention is the fire starter, and anything you throw on the fire, is simply fuel for the burn.

As far as the super white teeth comment in the OP, I was more or less referring to guys who bleach the fuck out of their teeth. I'm all for oral hygiene, in fact, bad oral hygiene is a deal breaker for me. I don't bleach my teeth but you better believe I brush them fuckers religiously.
