The airport on Tinian cracks me up. Immigration is a wooden booth with nobody in it and a sign next to it that says, "No Betelnut Chewing"

Kansas City is ok, small and old.
Miami is by far one of the worst. Serioulsy like a different country at that place!

Fucking seconded. Also, all of the food is on the wrong side of the security check point and (last time I was there anyway) once you get past security the only place you could get any kind of drink was from a water fountain I spent forever looking for.

Yeah when I got stuck there I ended up having to leave the secured area to use the bathroom. That really pissed me off.

I thought the ones in Memphis and Phoenix were nice

I'm not impressed with RDU and the wireless wasn't free last time I went

I guess the worst to me was the one in Manchester because the customs people were dicks to me but otherwise not had too bad of an experience except maybe that huge delay to Newark

fuck Delta

O'Hare takes the cake on this one. To be the biggest airport (US? maybe?) it is a disaster. Its a good thing they had a Chili's inside that bitch because we were delayed several hours.

san jose is a shitty little airport for being a fairly large city, but i guess SFO is really close.

I hate Newark and Houston.

My favorite is Denver. That is a sweet airport.

boston

"the 9:00 update on your flight is, there will be another update at 9:30"

but i don't so much hate the airport as i hate american airlines for having us wait 5 hours and then canceling our flight bc the staff had been working too many hours and then not comping us for anything causing me to spend lots more $$ since i was stuck in boston another night

this was one of the most miserable experiences of my life. Atlanta has to be the worst. Chicago is bad but Atlanta is another level entirely.

Worst:
Nashville - I was there during renovations and they didn't even have carpet in most of the fucking place. Just a solid concrete floor.
Atlanta - Only place I have ever missed a connection because the place is a clusterfuck.
Salt Lake City - Not the worst airport, but the worst place. Fucking mormans trying to convert you around every corner. Annoying as shit.

Best:
Vegas - Love how you can gamble there and it has solid hangover food when you are leaving.
Orlando - I've never had a bad time there. Solid bars for layovers.
Tampa - Probably my favorite airport ever.
Denver - Kickass place and has the best design ever from the outside.
Honorable Mention: Freeport and Montego Bay just because when I land I know I am on vacation.

Tokyo - Haneda/Narita. Having to a take a bus ride across greater Tokyo for domestic to international or vice versa travel is insane. And you have to pay for the bus. And it takes forever, so good luck getting to your next flight on time.

I go to SLC just about every year to ski, and have spent a lot of time there.
SLC doesn't even have a majority mormon population
The mormons that are there don't bother you unless you physically walk up to their temple.

I don't particularly like mormons either, but you are a liar.

Denver is pretty sweet. Charlotte is great cuz I met Bobby Brown there last year. Atlanta is terrible - too big and confusing.

And I'm looking forward to the Vegas airport in July!!!

o'hare is pretty bad, but there are at least places to walk around to so long as you're not in one of the end terminals

I am not a fan of reagan because all of the good shit is outside of security... so ass backwardly designed

One time our plane from LAS-RDU was delayed like 4 hours in the dead of summer (120 degrees outside) and the air conditioning in the whole airport was out

as soon as you get off the plane and into the airport, there are slot machines. i always have my $$$ out before I even get out of my seat

O'Hare, JFK and LAX all suck IMO because of the sheer number of flights. You can pretty much count on delays at all three no matter what time you flight out of them.

I had a horrible experience in Philly. My flight was delayed 8 hours and it was during the construction of the new terminal and they actually made me go outside security and back in again on my connection. WhoTF does that?

I don't like John Wayne (Orange County) only because of one of the takeoff patterns. They have to cut off the engines and fire them back up after they clear a certain neighborhood.

I've never had a problem in Atlanta (and there are a few ok places to get drinks) and SFO is nice...

i too hate O'Hare....i fly into Midway when ever possible even though its not THAT much better.
its bad b/c i adore Chicago but abhor the airports...lol

Not a fan of Dallas LUV either and i agree with Bobby about San Jose even though i did enjoy the fact that the bar was right next to my gate.

Not a big fan of Miami Dade either but i hardly fly there; flying into Orlando for the first time ever on Sunday so im excited to see how that one works out

New Orleans Air Port is a big cluster fuck too. not a fan

I actually really like ATL; you can smoke in the hamster glass and one of my favorite air port bar tenders works there. I love her ... i think she works in the C concourse

I also really like Tampa's & Phoenix

John Wayne in Irvine is the craziest airport I've flown into, the runway is literally a 1/4 from the 5 freeway and you go right over it.

i was a fan of the denver airport, and i see a lot of hate for chicago on here, but i actually enjoy that airport

another addition to my list of san jose...i don't enjoy st. louis' airport too much...san fran is decent but i usually fly into sfo from monterey on a very small propeller plane that gets absolutely rocked by the wind

I can relate 100% to this.

other than "atl sux lol!" what are your guys' complaints with atl? sure its busy and you have to pay for wifi, but they have decent food and the layout makes sense. security is surprisingly efficient, especially for such a large airport. really, i use atl to set the standard to compare others against.

what's confusing about this:

one time on the way to CHI, Ohare wouldn't let our plane land due to congestion

we had to land in Bloomington, IL, and from there some passengers were transferred to a smaller plan that went to Chicago.

however, because we sat in the back of the plane, we had to fucking find a hotel in bloomington and entertain ourselves for the evening.

What do you expect when you book your flights for two different airports? That's like bitching about having to go from JFK to Newark when you booked your flight to be that way.
