I spent more time at leesville hs over the years than most non-students. Sanderson too when I was much younger.

so apparently wake county kids took high school a lot more seriously than we did back home. i hung out with folks from schools all over the county and didn't really talk junk about them, except that aycock was full of STDs, but that was an undeniable fact. health dept said aycock had the highest rate in the county.

Just today I was explaining to someone the intricacies of the Bojangles off-campus-lunch challenge.

It was to get to either the 70/Miami Boulevard one or the Western Boulevard one... I always thought the Miami one was closer

For real.. The only major school rivalry we had I think was during football games - people would bring guns to that shit when we had games against New Bern.

Havelock HS, c/o 05, whaaaaat

I started at Leesville when the elem. school opened in 1st grade.... Class of '04. 12 years at that place.....

BO's run during lunch... I was there when 540 opened over to capital, we made it to the one on capital once during our lunch..... It was quite a challenge, the Millbrook kids were all like "How the hell did they get here"

^^And coincidentally, the previous leesville principal's father was principal at Havelock for many years.

This rivalry stuff seems silly. I went to the only high school in my county.

Then again, I'd throw down anyone who said Oakwood wasn't the best elementary school. Screw Stony Creek.
