I got drunk at 7 pm on Tuesdays all the time when I was 16

But at least I knew better than to drive in a thunderstorm

Statecole said the kid graduated a year behind him.
I don't think he's 16

I first said 16/17 year old because I knew that he had a limited provisional license, and it's people are usually that age when they receive that license.

It was an assumption on my part..... the kid graduated high school in '08.

Sorry for the confusion.

When I rolled up to my house today some lady was taking pictures of the damage, the lady was the mother of a girl who was in the passenger seat during the crash. The mom told me that the guy had an open container in the car as well.

She was also poking around the damage in my yard, looking for her daughter's iPod and cellphone. You would think she would be more concerned that her daughter wasn't dead She seemed very nonchalant about everything...she asked me what was going to happen to the guy (like I would know), and I said "Well he's probably screwed since he blew a .14" and she proceeded to ask me how bad that was

It's actually pretty crazy at my house right now. Our house was deemed unsafe to inhabit, so we're packing up or stuff to stay at a Mariott Extended Stay I believe. We've been talking to contractors to fix the house, insurance people, police, etc all day.

What a way to start the summer

OMG! this story is so insane

at least you seem (in spite of the house situation) to have GOOD luck. i mean it is so awesome your family was safe. like really freaking amazing.

and if that lady had been on my property looking for her daughter's shit i would have told her to get the FUCK off and that she should maybe be worrying about bigger things--like who her daughter is hanging out with and what kind of brilliant life decisions she's making.

First glad to hear your family is ok.

Second, Id sue whomever gave him the beer if hes underage. Police probably can help ya figure out who did (I think they normally look into this if its underage). Third (I know others will now say otherwise since its a chick) Id sue the girl for not stopping him. Shes a stupid dumbfuck for being in the car with him.

Last, in the style of proper TWW, Id look for the cellphone and start drunk dialing everyone in it. (in reality, the phone and the ipod are probaby either in the car, or EMS/hospital has them if they were in pockets/on her)

is his insurance/family covering it or is yours?

if his is not i hope you sue him for this

what rd was he on cary prwky?

and could he be on a provisional license from a prior dwi?

that wont fly im pretty sure, however if it was her car she would be charged with aid and abed a dwi

and im not saying shes not dumb because she shouldnt have been in the car with him, but i think MANY people drive at .10-.15 and dont think they are drunk, i dont think you "feel drunk" until about 1.6 or more

^^^^^haha yea. i added him as a friend on facebook today.....i don't think he'll accept

^^^^ yea it is crazy. i've gotten over the initial shock, but it still blows my mind to think about the situation. that was also the second time the lady had been on our property messing around. The first time my stepmom pretty much said what you did, and my dad carlfaced.

^^^I have no clue where he got the alcohol, my guess is that he and a couple of friends snuck into one of their parent's liquor cabinets and was celebrating cinco de mayo.

^^yea, while talking to my family earlier we all acknowledged that our first thought was to kick the guy's ass. but its probably best we didn't.

^his insurance is paying for everything i'm pretty sure. the contractor, hotel, etc. I don't think we will have to pay for much of anything out of our pockets.
