Be sure to part a little less than perpendicular from each other, so I can get the true glory of the V8. 6/12/2009 2:34:44 PM |

Have you considered a sporty compact like this one?

dude those headrest speakers are garbage. take those jokers out and put something decent in the doors.

^^^^No pony tail holes. The newer S2000s don't have those in the headrests. And how do you know those speakers are junk? The earlier models don't have them. (not that they're not junk).
But I mean, my car only has 4 speakers and 4 of them are in the rollbars...so I don't think I'd like want to cut down the speaker count by 50%. 6/13/2009 12:54:06 PM |

I dunno about the S2000, but in the Miata the headrest speakers are pretty much a gimmick for hearing a bit of tinny noise when cruising with the top down.
I've long felt that a quality set of midbass drivers (none of that coaxial driver mess) in the stock door location, a pair of tweeters a bit higher in the door or on the dash, and a shallow 10- or 12-inch woofer in the trunk would be the best approach for audio in a roadster.

^^
I've been in new s2000s. They are even worse than my 500$ factory option speakers (which suck).
I have the rears disabled and if anyone would like to buy them shoot me an offer. I have already given them such a glowing review .
Why do you need sound coming from behind you anyways? The stock stereo system is pretty crap all around. I think it might be worse than the AC. 6/13/2009 1:41:38 PM |
