How much do you weigh? What's your biggest insecurity? On a scale of 1-10, how pretty do you think you are?

[Edited on June 11, 2009 at 3:10 PM. Reason : are you intentionally ignoring this question?]

patience, grasshopper.

for the sake of honesty, and because at times i just don't give a fuck... i weigh over 200lbs, under 250lbs. continually trying to lower the number
my biggest insecurity is still my body. i mean, i have my fair share of mental bullshit, but the body/weight is the main one.
um...facially, i think i'm not too bad on the eyes... no scarjo, but no paris hilton (i don't find her one bit attractive).

if it continues to be all disguistingly rainy outside, i'm not gonna do much of anything. i got my first CSA pickup yesterday, so i have a ton of greens (random ones) that i need to do something with, in terms of cooking. probably go to trader joe's/grocery shopping...

oh, and brooks wood (of brooks wood band?) whom i don't exactly know is visiting the city (he's moving up here soon) and i think we're gonna go to the huge farmer's market in union square tomorrow. show the new york n00b some of the city.

do you know how to make ginger dressing, the kind you get at Kanki and other japanese restaurants?? i've bought like 10 different kinds of ginger dressing from the store and it never tastes the same.

err that's a good question. i would start with lots of ginger, soy and some honey, along with sesame oil and olive oil and play. if you make it in small batches, you might be able to experiment till you get a match.

maybe try this dressing?

Quote :
"Sugar Snap Peas with Asian Dressing

To mingle the flavors, you can let the peas and dressing stand for up to ten minutes. More than that and the peas start to lose their bright green color. Have a bowl of ice water ready to "shock" the drained peas and prevent further softening and shriveling.

Ingredients
1 teaspoon table salt
4 cups sugar snap peas (about 1 pound), stems snipped off and strings removed if needed
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 scallion (white and green parts), sliced thin
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
Table salt and ground black pepper

Instructions
1. Bring 6 cups water to brisk boil in 3- or 4-quart saucepan. Add salt and peas and cook until crisp-tender, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes depending on size of peas.
2.Drain peas, shock in ice water, drain again, and pat dry. (Peas can be set aside for up to 1 hour.)
3. Toast sesame seeds over medium heat in small skillet, shaking pan often to promote even cooking, until light brown and fragrant, 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, combine juice, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, scallion, and ginger in small bowl. Whisk in oils. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in sesame seeds. (Dressing can be set aside for several hours.)
5. Toss dressing with peas and serve."

Not a chance, since I'm not fishing. But if the weather is decent, I may go to the beach or a park along the water. I need a break from the computer.

Haha, well I wasn't sure if you were possibly speaking of jobs. But the answer is still no. Tomorrow = holiday for a lot of companies.

Otherwise, if you were asking about something I still haven't figured out, you'll have to spell it out.

Ok, I am seriously laughing out loud at myself and my inability to read. I'm really not a retard, TWW, promise.

And....sure, you'll catch some.
