while some men may feel that a whore is a whore is a whore, i think what twoozles and others are trying to say that that term is LARGELY used to describe women and that women are called out far more often for their promiscuity - and not in a good way. with men its like "dude you totally nailed that chick that is so awesome" and with girls its like "what a disgusting little slut"

so i understand their viewpoint. being a male whore is like being some kind of warrior winning all kinds of conquests. being a female whore is just being someone with no self respect. or something.

and i don't believe in time limits. mostly because i don't think that any person i've ever dated has followed the same pattern. and because there often aren't clear lines in dating. in my experiences (you know, post 6th grade) no one is like "will you be my girlfriend" on the first date. so i think by reading people well and using your brain you can figure out when / whether or not to sleep with someone. i don't think it is THAT hard to figure out when you are in a committed relationship with someone (if that is your standard). you don't have to date for months at a time to determine commitment. plus what do the labels of "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" really mean when so many "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" cheat on each other? i think every relationship is different and if you are aware and smart in your own relationship, then you'll figure it out. but there aren't rules. because no relationship is the same. maybe some people have personal time limits, and that is fine if it makes you feel more comfortable and confident. i just can't structure myself like that. maybe it makes me a slut! oh well

and i truly do try to hold the correct use of the words...a girl or guy who has sex for money or gifts or any other advantage is a whore...those who sleep around are sluts

Girls are sluts because stuff goes into them, and that's gross. I love them for it though.

Putting something in something doesn't seem so gross, so guys get away with it. Stuff shoots out of us and into or onto girls, so that's kinda gross too.


And I don't think I've ever dated a girl for more than a week or two without getting something, but I wouldn't consider any of them slutty or anything.

If you're going to define dating in terms of exclusivity, you're going to have to define exclusivity and clarify a few points:

Is it "exclusive" if you're cheating but the other party doesn't know?

What if they know and don't care?

If you're cheating on two people that you're seeing "exclusively", which one are you dating?

i think the 2nd date/encounter is the longest i've ever gone...and I've only made it that long a couple of times, now that I'm thinking about it.

I don't have any sort of policy to that effect or anything...it's just kind of the way things have always worked out. That, and I've never really been all that particularly enamored with any of the girls I've dated and/or slept with (the ones that I've actually really liked, I've never had any success with, either sexually or relationship-wise ).

I'd actually deliberately make an effort to take things more slowly (nowadays, at least) with the right woman. I'd actually really like to give the relationship thing a shot. That doesn't mean I'm going to sit around going crazy from self-inflicted chastity due to Miss Right not being around, though.

i guess i feel the same way. in fact if my hormones had less say in the matter, I'd probably wait till her loins were aching for some pushing. But as things turn out, thats rarely the case. We both decided the instant we met that we were going to wake up stinky next to each other. and after a few brews, you tend to avoid the wait. as worthless as women are, they tend to get better with booze.

I'm more of a "if the moment is right, it's right" kind of girl. I don't feel any pressure to sleep with or not sleep with potential romantic partners.

I, too, have had sex. My boyfriend got into my bed on the first date and hasn't gotten of it in three years. Sometimes you just know when it's right.

My ex-wife and I fucked on the first date. And that was just some date that a mutual friend set us up on. She and I had a fling for a little bit, ended it, went our separate ways for a year. Started hanging out and fucking for a while...then started dating.

And...well...we know how that one ended.

Present gf and I made it almost 5 weeks. My main thought then was, "I ain't dating anybody again who fucks on the first date." Basically I wouldn't date any woman who'd fuck ME on the first date...or who'd just randomly fuck me without getting to know me, period.

If she fucks me based on my looks, either under the influence of alcohol or not, she's either partially blind or ugly or just a damn slut. Of course, when I was 50 lbs lighter, I was rockstar hot.

I think some of you are paranoid about chicks that don't make you work for it! Sometimes they are trying to get something out of you or rope you in.

But usually I think they just feel like getting it on. It's not about a lack of self-respect; despite all of your overwhelming charms, most girls don't feel like they have to sleep with you.

The most feminist thing you can do is exactly what you feel as right for you personally--and that can range from being totally celibate to swinging to being a porn star.

But anyway, like people have said already, different relationships will always have different dynamics and different rules. I had been dating my high school sweetheart since I was fifteen and I didn't do it with him until I was almost twenty and he was about to graduate college.

I don't begrudge anyone for waiting, going full steam ahead, or even have f-buddies if they feel like that benefits them.

I agree with this 100% Girls like to get it on too. Hell I've used guys for sex before and broke their heart. It was awesome. But the same thing has happen to me and sucks. It's the way it goes. And that is what fuck b4 date can sometimes get ya.

Dating before fucking is really nice because it really weeds out the guys (or girls) you would want to spend time with personally, emotionally, and sexually. And you don't hate yourself in the morning for wasting time on some one who is terrible in bed, just maybe a horror on a date. Either way, run.
