Anyway, my problems with the "war" these idiots are engaging in:

1. If they are such true animal rights activists and all this shit, why are they willing to harm/kill one animal in order to prevent harm/death from coming to another?

2. If they really wanted to stop this, why aren't they going after the people who have the money and own the companies and vessels? The workers on the ship are just doing their jobs, I'd be willing to bet that most of them are just trying to make a living so that they can take care of themselves and their family.

3. I do not like how the captain is willing to risk the lives of his crew in ridiculous ways. He expects that his unpaid crew should give their lives if he demands it of them. He truly is convinced that his unpaid, extremely young, naive, brainwashed crew should be willing to die for him without hesitation.

4. I do not like the fact that pretty much the entire crew is either inexperienced, underqualified, or both. The fact that this includes the captain is even more ridiculous. The failed, near-deadly boat launch is evidence of just how little business any of them have being near a boat.

5. The captain faked being shot in order to aim further negative publicity towards the whalers and paint them as "bloodthirsty killers". In reality, the captain is the one who is instigating all of the violence. He attacks vessels that are non-combative and non-threatening, he orders his crew to attempt to cover them in things that can easily injure and even kill their crew members and at the very least will make them extremely uncomfortable and yet he expects that nobody should be able to retaliate. The only regret I have with this situation is that he faked it. Had it been real, he'd have been killed and I'd be very happy with the outcome.

I would recommend shooting the acid out of a glorified water launcher sprinkler thing. Nets wont do anything. You just need to make sure the wind is blowing the right way and you minimize spills and and you get on your own deck.

Well, the muriatic acid (Spelled wrong I'm sure) is not dangerous in and of itself. That other stuff they like to throw is though, the slippery stuff. It is hard to describe just how dangerous falling down on the deck of a ship out in the antarctic can be. If you go in, you're most likely dead and even if you don't go in, you can easily break your wrists or receive other injuries related to falling.

They act like they don't do anything harmful to the fishermen, but they do! They are willing to kill those people in order to save whales, which is insane. If they believe all animals are equal and that no animals should be killed then why is killing humans (A type of animal last time I checked) acceptable?! They only fucking eat vegan meals on board, yet they'd kill a human (Even themselves I'm sure ) who is threatening a whale without hesitation.

Those fishermen are trying to feed their families and shit, it's not like the fishermen are the problem or "the man". They need to go after the companies that own all of this equipment and the countries that allow it rather than the people on the bottom rung of this ladder. It is insane to think that they really don't get that they're just making people's lives miserable everyday while changing absolutely nothing. The fishermen get to go around soaked in fucking muriatic acid, slipping on deck, etc, as if the job weren't already dangerous enough.

Everyone involved with this "whale wars" bullshit is a worthless, mega-hypocritical shitbag, nothing about their actions is understandable or in any way condonable. It's like when terrorists kill U.S. citizens because they're angry at the government. I see these people as being terrorists, but just too wimpy and uninformed to take it to the next level. They aren't willing to go about it reasonably, so they ought to just go all the way son. They should get some fragmentation grenades, RPG's, AK-47's, RPK's and PSL's or Dragunov's rather than pussy foot around with these bottles of cock juice. Then they could snipe the fishermen as they approached, hit the ship with some RPG's and then board it using their small boats to kill the entire crew of each whaling vessel. If they really want to punish the fishermen, that's the way to do it son. ^ No, that slick stuff is intended to make the working areas unsafe and thus render the areas unusable, effectively disabling the ship... The problem is that by making the areas unsafe, you create a very real risk of death or serious injury for the crew. This is why I think the Japanese are being INCREDIBLY nice about this. The crew of the Steve Irwin has performed actions that would have likely had them sunk were they to perform it on U.S. or other nation's military vessels IMO. These games of chicken at sea and dangerous ship to ship attacks and unauthorized boardings are stupidly dangerous. The Japanese should have sniped the "captain" a long time ago (He has never been shot by the Japanese, contrary to his claims).

The smelly acid shit (I think they make it with rancid butter) will have the benefit of ruining any whale meat it gets on, but again the real purpose is to make the working areas unusable and to make the fishermen so uncomfortable that they will no longer wish to perform their duties. Tainting the whale meat is a side benefit, because from their perspective if there is whale meat to ruin, that means that the whalers managed to kill a whale, which means that the crew failed. The acid is supposed to render the ship unusable BEFORE it ever gets a whale and hopefully force it back to port.

I had to change the channel when they made that little boat #1 sit out in the water until little boat #2 caught up, because each little boat had it's specific cradle to sit in, and they had to put them on in order.

I mean, if they can't figure that riddle out, then they really don't need a boat to start with.

they can only raise the little boats from the starboard side. they can only raise the boats a specific height once in the same height as the deck.

they have to put the little boat #1 on first in its specific cradle because of its fuel, supplies and lines being on that cradle and then boat #2 because they cant lift the boat #1 high enough if it was to go on second.

you see how that works?

it HAS to be done in that order.
