I too have heard this

in this case, the label "Lolverpool" would probably be appropriate

ESPN won the bidding for Setanta's 46 games. What this means for American viewers I have no idea at the moment.

Glen Johnson to Lolverpool finally....

but it looks like Arbeloa and Alonso to Real Madrid, and most likely Mascherano to Barca unless lolverpool double his salary

ahahahahahha smooth move, Benitez.

lol fill me in please

are you saying the 17 mil (less than 10 actually because some was on credit) spent on Johnson would have covered the salary difference needed to keep Alonso/Masch in Liverpool?

or are you going to go with the bullshit playing time/rotation policy excuse for them wanting to leave too?

I never said it's bullshit that they're leaving or might leave...

I'm just saying there's no way you can put this on him (I'm not even a big Rafa supporter, I just think he takes too much blame for shit) - there's no doubt to me this situation is all about

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

and not anything to do with Rafa

Deco recently:

Quote :
"It's no secret that Portugal and Chelsea playmaker Deco wants to leave.

To make things even clearer, he told UK media sources : "I did not enjoy my time at Chelsea. This club is just Roman Abramovich's toy .... I also did not appreciate the fact that coach Felipe Scolari was fired".

Deco's departure this summer is unavoidable and Inter Milan remain the favourites to sign him."

Quote :
"Arsenal have offered Emmanuel Adebayor to AC and Inter Milan to prevent the 25-year-old from joining Chelsea."

Quote :
"Michael Essien's agent - Fabien Piveteau - has alarmed Chelsea by claiming the Ghana midfielder would be interested in a move to Spain. "

Quote :
"Zlatan Ibrahimovich's agent has suggested that the forward is likely to start next season as a Chelsea player."

liverpool appear to be losing a lot of spanish players to barca and real...mostly just rumors i suppose

man city are still trying to buy everyone for way too much, this time signing eto'o for a ridiculous number ive heard and will make him the highest paid player in the epl....

united look closer to getting benzema

oh and i dont really like Man Utd's new home kit next season...big black chevron on the front of the red uni's...just looks weird to me over top of the logo...

Agreed. It detracts from the classic look of the Man U jersey.

Chelsea's new away jersey however, is hot fire

I can't get an image to link from kitbag so just got there and look at it

Looks too similar color wise to their home kit IMO. Not sure what the hell they were going for, I'm not really feeling it either. Their home kit looks even gayer with the random seams and faux zipper.

i just looked at arsenal away and its a polo...ive never been a fan of jerseys with a zipper, button, etc...i like the t-shirt look to jerseys. one of my club teams while i was growing up had a polo type jersey and i just hated the way it felt, plus it looks retarded. im running on the field tackling people gettin dirty and having my shirt tugged at all the time...its not a tennis or golf match...

it doesnt look anything special...sadly you will have to see that cheesy lookin home jersey more often though...and prob will see the 3rd jersey more than the away jersey since both home and away are blue jerseys, stupidly enough

this is getting ridiculous

benzema is great but i feel like madrid is selling their soul to the devil right now

what happens when barca take la liga again next year?

also, is there any significance to the 8 shirt that was given to kaka? i know at big clubs sometimes they do that for different historical reasons

Chelsea-Celtic FC

The Hoopensioners

If Benzema goes to Madrid I'm gonna be kind of pissed. I don't think the 8 number has any significance for Real, but I could be wrong.

haha I know

I want Ruud at Liverpool so he's finally on a team that I don't hate

plus he's a very cheap option for a back-up who scores goals

I mostly like him because of this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJmlwTGyKaQ

i was just reading the message boards on manutd.com

there are some real idiots on there. people saying valencia is better than ribery. people saying united should get balotelli over anyone else...any everyone is in love with aguero now that benzema is off the table.

im glad im a fan from usa and dont have multiple friends to hear about this day in and day out, cause i bet it gets pretty moronic over in england
