^^ At least if you're watching channels that target folks in their 20's (i.e. men in their 20's).

Most of what I know about WoW I learned from watching South Park and from the various posts about it in chit chat (like that girl who screwed some dude for gold).

Once people on here actually break into the lingo of WoW, however, I completely lose track of what's going on.

It's a real job if you can make ends meet and support yourself and your commitments.

Aspiring musicians don't have real jobs. Ben Folds has a real job.

Aspiring writers don't have a real job. JK Rowling has a real job.

That being said, you can have a real job and still be an an aspiring writer. I'm an ad writer (real job) and an aspiring novelist. Should I ever write a hit novel, I'll stop writing ads.

Well, I wasn't really talking about people who make millions in music, just those who make a comfortable living at it. The Superchunk folks make most of their money off of Merge these days, I'd suppose.

i have a friend here who spends untold hours playing WoW every day. i don't think he has ever had a girlfriend, but he does have a job at pizza hut and gets free food there on his off days, so maybe that will help his prospects a bit. then again, if he got a date, he'd have to borrow his mom's car to take her out, soooo... hmm. anywho, yeah, that WoW's a helluva drug.

She told him that they were in the business where people's health was at stake and that he needed to get his head together. He told her that he was a Healer in WOW and that when he says he's going to be there to help his friends, he needs to be there on time.

He got fired.

Then again, my company might be more understanding. We tested and launched one of our new products via Second Life before introducing it to "first life" consumers.
