i was on morphine for 3 days last week now I am taking hydrocodone but am trying not to take it if i can help it. usually just at night to help me sleep. i guess it didn't help, since its 450am and I'm wide awake

^2 I do. I had a second degree burn (from oil) and I would never wish that pain on someone... I had to receive Demorol (sp) at the hospital and was on Vicodin for days...

Demorol was the jam -- it was like a blessing and took the blinding pain away!

i always heard that you shouldn't take them at the same time...that you needed like 2-3 hrs in between swapping between the two.

i'm a light weight when it comes to pills.

i dont completely dislike beer....there are a couple of hefeweizens and ipas that i can drink...but for whats out and cheap....bud light, miller lite, that kinda beer...i just cant drink it...im not a pislner kinda girl

yeah i don't really consider bud, miller, etc. in the realm of what i call beer. that stuff is more like water than anything to me.

i'm more of brown ale/stout sort of gal.

Advil & Tylenol work in different ways. Tylenol hits you in the liver. Advil does not. They work in different ways as well for different symptoms.

My doc also advised me that, as long as I double the time before taking them again, I can double up on the normal advil and tylenol doses. Was recommended for when I was dealing with extreme sinus pain and a variety of pains resulting from a lower back muscle injury.

I don't think I've ever taken anything stronger than Vicodin except for the morphine drip I had before my emergency appendectomy in high school. It felt amazing for the 30-45 seconds of awareness I had after I started on it.
