Let's do the math on that, actually...

I'd watch curling when it came on maybe... twice per winter olympics.
So that's .5 of an event per year, for... let's just say the past 10 years.
I've watched (I think) 3 or 4 full soccer games in that same time frame. Rough guess, I don't remember and it could even be less than that.

So... that gives us 5 curling games vs 3 or 4 soccer games. Yeah, accurate statement made.
