I'd like to request that this be a no spoiler thread. I'd rather not have the show ruined for me.

I think you're pretty safe. Normally I'm the only one that posts spoilers and I just don't care enough this year to even bother looking them up.

I didn't care for her much in the beginning, but I really ended up liking Laura a lot. Sorry to see her go. But I am so glad she brought Ronnie down in the process. I just hope Jesse doesn't side with Ronnie and let him stay another week.

I found it funny when she was watching her goodbye videos & gave a scoff when russell mentioned missing her boobs. If she dosen't want to be noticed for them & have them talked about, she shouldn't have gotten implants in the first place.

They still make this crap. Big Brother is nothing more than a watered down Real World that they can show on broadcast. This is not endorsing the garabge aka Real World. When will CBS begin making quality TV shows instead of this "Reality" garbage that i get tortured overhearing my co-workers gossip about around the water cooler.

I hope the twist is a good one.

I think it's time to shake things up since the Athletes are running the house and all of America's favorites are going home!

I don't want Casey or Jordan to go home

is this the most lopsided season ever?

^the Donatos (Dick & Danielle) was a more lopsided season.

They had a father-daughter link, but no one ever remotely regarded them as an alliance. The America's Player was restricted by the fan vote and the producers went out their way to ensure the daddy-daughter duo stuck around as long as possible.

No idea what the twist is, but I am betting that they end up dissolving the teams. Mostly because of the athlete dominance and with all of America's favorites going home.

But who knows. Maybe they put someone back in the house or prevent someone from winning. But I just see the teams going away just like they did away with the pairs in the short spring season when Adam won (where there were 2 person teams).

^^That season was anything but lopsided. For pretty much so the entire season it was the entire house versus Dick and Danielle. They were put on the block together 3 times and managed to get off all three times. Yes, America's Player had a lot to do with that, but you can't call 2 people (or even 3 when you count Eric) against the entire house lopsided. Unless you mean lopsided against the Donatos, but that wouldn't make sense since they finished 1-2.

^^I was assuming that the twist was going to be the dissolution of teams.

Hopefully it will be something more interesting though.

I really don't want Casey to go cause he's my fave.

^^your revisionist history will not fool me.

I watched that season pathetically closely. I combed the messageboards and watched youtube videos like they were the Zapruder film. The entire house was never rallied against the Donatos. They managed to fool people by depicting their relationship as estranged when it was clear that they always had each others back. That was smart game play on their part and outrageously stupid game play on the rest of the house. However, that move, coupled with production influence in the form of America's Player and questionable Diary Room conduct, ensured a rather easy road to the finals for the Donatos.

The only thing more sad than those two cretins sitting there at the end, was me having devoted so much time to watching them get their.

Ignoring the fact that this simply isn't true, a secret two person alliance is not even close to being lopsided.

I agree, unless that alliance is actively aided and abetted by production.

I don't think anyone had an easier lock on the game than the Donatos, credit to producer influence.

To be fair, I didn't watch any other season as closely, so the level of manipulation could have been on par with previous seasons.

the donatos won due to the AP eric being such a great manipulator and america wanted them to stay. so eric was forced against his will to further their cause and not evict them as he wanted to

I cant help but think how differently this season would be if Jessie wouldnt have been added to the house

The only people I like still in the house are Jeff, Jordan and Casey. If they get eliminated I'm gonna have a hard time watching the rest of the season. I really want to see the tables turn and the athletes get put in their place

That was funny when Jesse told Julie that his relationship with the girls is strictly platonic, especially since he fucked Lydia a couple of nights ago.

I thought the cliques idea was stupid, but I'm not a big fan of them changing the rules of the game to appease America. I guess this is typical of Big Brother? I only saw last season.

Yeah, they're pretty bad about just making shit up as they go along. Technically no one can prove they weren't planning this all along, even though it's pretty obvious they're just bailing on a spectacularly horrible idea.

^ I can't see Michelle winning anything. Other than her family I think it is likely that most of the viewers forget that she is even in the house until 20 minutes or so in when she makes her one appearance for show.

michelle is so awkward that I feel awkward for her through the tv. I still dont like her, but she's definitely better than Lydia, Kevin, Chima, Ronnie, Jessie and Natalie.

It's just like how Michelle and Kevin were barely shown in the first two weeks.

When there's this many people, they aren't going to feature everyone in every episode.

nope, they still had a little screen time

my wife and I thought jordan had to leave the show or something until we saw her sitting at the veto meeting..

a contestant has never been that absent from an episode

did BB leave out some segments of where michele lied to ronnie? i mean, seriously ronnie, it isn't like you didn't do the same exact thing to michele's team--several times. leave it be and walk out the door, you just got played by the same game you pulled for 4 weeks. i'm guessing ronnie was mad that michele didn't use the veto?

so, the new power that jeff has...does he also get to nominate the people that he wants up? was there even a reason in playing the HOH tonight and veto coming up? i thought i understood that jeff can not only overthrow chima's nominations, but change them to who he wants?? IF thats the case, then BB has done some major intervening to reduce the lopsideness. IF jeff can put anyone up, i hope he goes for the jugular and puts up jessie and natalie.

^Reason for HOH and POV is primarily if Jeff decided not to use his powers. If Jordan won or someone else he may not have to use it. Obviously barring something crazy he will use it this week. POV is good for whoever wins it as well. Because Jeff won't be able to put that person or the HOH (Chima) on the block.

I can see Jeff and Russell ending up against one another on the block this week. And as long as Jessie or Natalie don't win POV (which is best case scenario) then Jeff can replace the nominees with whoever he chooses. Hopefully Jessie and Natalie. Can't go wrong with either of those guys going home.

As for Ronnie's hatred of Michelle. She did nothing he hadn't already done. The only difference if it wasn't for his benefit. So glad to see him gone. And that he didn't even last long enough to make the jury house!!!

i think chima puts up kevin and lydia... one, because she wants russell out and will backdoor him. two, iirc, she hates lydia also. my next guess would be jeff and jordan on the block... either way, if i were jeff, i'd remove whoever is up there and put up jessie/natalie.

who do you think jeff will put in now that he controls the game? Assuming jessie or natalie doesn't win the veto (they probably won't try hard as they won't be playing or have someone to save) does he pick those two? I think that is the only play for him and don't see who else he would put in. Then jeff, jordan, and russell seem to have the most powerful alliance as long as jessie or natalie (whichever stays) doesn't win HOH next week.

I think russell would align with jeff and jordan after they seemed to form an alliance last week and if jeff saved him.
